Over the years, I’ve supported adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma through counselling and support groups, across the UK and USA. In that time, I’ve seen how symptom-focused approaches can leave people feeling misunderstood, disconnected, and powerless.

I wanted to offer something different: therapy that values you as the unique individual you are, rather than a list of issues to be treated. This led me to train in the person-centred approach, earning a BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience and an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Nottingham.
Beyond my training and experience, what matters most is helping people feel grounded, understood, and more in control of their lives. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I work within a trusted ethical framework to create a space built on empathy, authenticity, and acceptance- where change is nurtured, not forced.
My Approach
Reece Clarke, MA | Psychotherapist
Third Path Therapy was created in response to the idea that there are only two ways forward- right or wrong, coping or failing, functional or broken. In reality, human experience is far more nuanced, and meaningful change often happens outside these binaries.

The “Third Path” represents the space in between, where you’re not pushed in any one direction, but supported to explore your own. Instead of being told who to be or how to change, you’re invited to slow down, listen inward, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
Here, you can breathe, talk freely, and start feeling like yourself again- without judgement. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on, embrace your potential, and regain a sense of control and clarity in your life.
Why Third Path Therapy?

At Third Path Therapy, my aim is to offer more than a space to talk. Whatever you’re feeling, no matter how painful, confusing, or overwhelming, it is welcome here and worth being heard.

You set the pace and focus of sessions. Whether that means questioning old narratives, exploring your experiences, or simply taking the space to be with yourself- there’s room for whatever feels important to you. Real change happens naturally, when you feel safe, supported, and truly connected with another human being.
I am committed to inclusivity and welcome people of all identities and cultural backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. Third Path Therapy is a place where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to walk a path that truly feels their own.
