Person-centred support groups offer a space to be seen, heard, and understood alongside others navigating their own personal challenges. You don’t need to explain yourself or have it all figured out- simply being present is enough.
Unlike one-to-one counselling, groups provide a shared experience. Many people find comfort in realising they’re not alone in their struggle, and that others carry similar concerns, doubts, and worries. Everyone’s voice matters equally, and connection itself becomes part of the healing process.
These groups are grounded in the core values of person-centred therapy: empathy, respect, authenticity, and acceptance. There’s no hierarchy, and no pressure to change. My role is to gently hold the space, ensuring emotional safety while the group’s shared experience guides each session.
What Are Person-Centred Groups?
Sessions take place in a safe, supportive environment where you’re invited to share at your own pace. Some people speak early on; others prefer to listen first- and both are welcome. There’s no pressure, no expectation, and no right way to take part. Each session offers:
-
space to share what you're going through
-
opportunities to explore thoughts, emotions, or challenges as they arise
-
time to listen, and feel supported by others
-
gentle facilitation to keep the group respectful, and connected
There’s no set agenda, no worksheets, and no pre-planned topics. Conversations unfold naturally from what the group brings, making every session unique, meaningful, and guided by the needs of each member.

What Do Sessions Look Like?

Many people join hoping to feel less alone, and discover much more. Through shared experience and genuine connection, you may find:
-
a true sense of belonging and shared understanding
-
greater self-acceptance, as you’re met without judgment
-
fresh perspectives from hearing others’ experiences
-
deeper clarity about your feelings and needs
-
strength and resilience developed through mutual support
There is never an expectation to be anyone other than who you are. This is your space to be heard, supported, and grow alongside others who value real human connection.
