What Are Person-Centred Groups?

Person-centred support groups offer a space to connect, where you can feel seen, heard, and understood alongside others navigating their own challenges.

Unlike one-to-one counselling, the group creates a shared experience. Many people find comfort in realising they’re not alone, and that others carry similar concerns and doubts.

You don’t need to justify your feelings or be anyone other than yourself- simply being present is enough.

These groups are grounded in the core values of person-centred therapy: empathy, respect, authenticity, and acceptance. Everyone’s voice matters equally.

My role is to gently hold the space, supporting emotional safety while the group experience shapes each session.

Sessions take place in a safe, supportive environment where you’re invited to share at your own pace.

 

There’s no pressure, no expectation, and no right way to take part.

 

Each session offers:

  • space to share what you're going through

  • opportunities to explore thoughts, emotions, or challenges as they arise

  • time to listen, and feel supported by others

  • gentle facilitation to keep the group respectful, and connected

Conversations unfold naturally from what the group brings, making every session unique, meaningful, and guided by the needs of each member.
